SPPageBuilder configuration

SP Page Builder made several fixes in version 3.7.1 that now allows normal operation of sh404SEF and SP Page Builder. The below information only applies if you use older SPPB version, before version 3.7.1.

SPPageBuilder is well-known page builder produced by JoomShaper. SPPageBuilder works very well with sh404SEF. However one specific feature of SPPageBuilder may not operate normally: the Preview and Edit links and buttons found in SPPageBuilder backend.

When such links are created from the backend, they will produce incorrect links when sh404SEF operates with default settings.

The recommended configuration is:

• Use sh404SEF version 4.19.0 or more recent
• Under the By component tab of sh404SEF configuration, configure SPPageBuilder as follows:

If you have already operated SPPageBuilder prior to selecting this configuration, you should also delete all the SPPageBuilder URLs found under the SEF URL manager in sh404SEF backend, so that new ones are created again.
