Hi, I am going to buy both sH404SEF and Jsitemap (https://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension/structure-a-navigation/site-map/jsitemap/).

Reading documentations of both extensions, it seems that they only partially overlap (e.g. Jisitemap allows to create and manages metadata, while sH404SEF doesn't).
So, I think they can be complementary. Do you agree?

Exploiting completely these two extensions can equal a basic SEO work by a web agency?

Finally, do you know of any conflits between these two extensions?

Thanks

Hi

Jisitemap allows to create and manages metadata, while sH404SEF doesn't).
You may have missed very, very large parts of sh404SEF documentation then ;)

sh404SEF allows managing meta data and page title far beyond what JSitemap can do (because we manage URLs among other things. This includes canonical which can be set on a URL by URL basis, or in a "table" view , with several URLs at the same time. And of course, we also do a lot with structured data (schema.org), OGP data, Twitter Cards and more.
I encourage you to read the "SEO" and "Social SEO" sections of sh404SEF documentation on those topics.

So, I think they can be complementary. Do you agree?
The thing from JSitemap we don't do is basicall, well, sitemaps. It's a recurring discussion. The point is that for most sites, having a sitemap extension serves no purpose. They are really only helpful at launch, and in this case more efficiently done with external tools.
Sitemaps can be very useful if you have crawling issues, but then you need to spend more time and have tools that let you decide and track exactly which pages should be included or not, for SEO purposes. I am not aware of any sitemap extension that lets you do that.

Exploiting completely these two extensions can equal a basic SEO work by a web agency?
If you know what to do, yes, this is what sh404SEF has been built for. The key point here is not how to do things, but what to do. This is what a good SEO agency will tell you, for instance rewrite your content, etc
