Reduced schedule during conference and annual break

We'll be operating with a reduced schedule from tomorrow and the next few weeks, as follows:

We'll be travelling and attending JoomlaDay USA from Tuesday April 22 to Friday April 25. Support will have extended response time during this period. From April 25 evening to Tuesday May 12 included, support will be closed for our annual break.

Don't forget to look up the documentation, including the videos, your answer may already be there! Likewise, be sure to check the Development versions area, in case your problem may already have been solved.

In case of emergency (ie your site is down with a fatal error directly linked to one of our extensions), please contact us by email (see contact icon at the bottom of all pages of this site)

Hello. I have a question. I decide which SEF component for joomla I will use in the future. In the past I had sh404sef. Here I was concerned that the created url url could not be saved as "Custom" and locked to clean it. It was possible to create it in advance, but it can not be saved automatically created.

Do you plan to add this option in the future?

For competitions, I can automatically designate my url as "Custom" and lock it for deletion :)

Hi

That's not something we do and to be honest, we don't have requests for it. If you really, really want to "lock" such a URL, you would just delete it and re-create it manually, as a custom URL.

What's the use case?

Best regards

I'm not a programmer, but I think this will not be hard to add to the component :)

What's the use case?

I often start running a website and everything works. SH404SEF generates a url and everything is fine. After a month of use, there are several thousand urls, some urls have multiple duplicates, and the original address is not displayed. Then, there is no module or category in the VM.

I need to clean all urls and then everything is fine. Before some time comes again.

If I could lock such a automatically created url so that it does not change or delete, it would be great.

I know the hand made creation. It's complicated and lengthy on big websites.

Difficult or not is just a minor part of the equation.

Well, there's already a feature dedicated to managing this, when Joomla creates many duplciates (actually, just Joomla creating one duplicate is enough), managing duplicates URLs.

Best regards

Hi

Options for managing duplicates URLs :)
Confused. There is no such setting. I already linked to the documentation on how to manage duplicates and solve exactly the kind of issues you explain. Again, for your reference: https://weeblr.com/documentation/products.sh404sef/4/going-further/sef-urls/manage-duplicates.html

Please note that all of this only applies to the current version of sh404SEF.

Best regards
