Hi

The conditions for that button to be displayed is that there's at least one custom meta data record or one alias created in sh404SEF (or else there's nothing to import). Do you have such custom data in sh404SEF?

Best regards

Hi

I would suggest you only uninstall it when you have successfully tested the entire site, and are sure all is working. It's currently disabled.

To be sure sh404SEF has no effect, I'd suggest disabling the sh404SEF system plugin.

Indeed, just before you start the move to J4, you'll need to uninstall it as it cannot work on Joomla 4 (with the system plugin disabled, it won't cause any issue but still, there's no point in keeping it).

When you uninstall sh404SEF, it will leave all its data in the database (that's normal procedure, to avoid data loss in case you uninstall it by mistake).

To also remove the sh404SEF data from the database:

- BEFORE you uninstall it, change settings to tell it to remove data, as explained in the Uninstall documentation.

- OR just remove them using phpmyadmin or you preferred database administration tool

Last thing, I'd advise to perform the Joomla 4 upgrade on a test copy of your site beforehand, to be sure all is well.
