We're pleased to announce the release of sh404SEF version 4.7.2. Version 4.7.2 is a maintenance release over version 4.7.1, with only minor changes and a translation bug fix.

It is also the last release compatible with Joomla 2.x. As per our deprecation notice, we stop supporting Joomla 2.x at the end of the year. Versions of our extensions for Joomla! 2.x are now available in a separate section of the download area. No further updates will be produced for Joomla! 2.x, and technical support will stop, or be limited to basic usage support when possible.

Here are the highlights:

• Added workaround for extensions (plugins) that still use JRequest API, breaking 404 page handling
• Virtuemart: do not create URLs in database for some search
• Include "Unknown origin" 404s in the "External" count on the control panel, confusing otherwise

Hello,

We're pleased to announce the release of sh404SEF version 4.7.1. This is a maintenance release over version 4.7.0, with only bug fixes and minor changes:

• Removal of Twitter buttons count layout options, as Twitter removed the ability to display share counters on Nov. 20
• bug fixes, mostly for multilingual and Virtuemart sites

Documentation has been updated to reflect the changes.
