HI,
I am considering an acaht for a multilingual website
1 / compatibility
a) is this the case with dpcalendar?
b) Will I be able to generate separate URLs for recurring events? example
A "my-event" event takes place once a month
www.onsite.xyz/agenda/mon-evenement-date1, www.onsite.xyz/agenda/mon-evenement-date2, ...
c) Do you generate a sitemap with dpcalendar urls?
d) compatible with joomshapper's page builder

2 / problem solving
I saw with amazement that the homepage of the site (ndd several years and redone at the beginning of the year with joomla instead of wp) was not indexed by putting "onsort.eu" in the search engine google. By going into the GG console, I can not get it re-indexed. That's where I realized that there were thousands of urls (probably old site) in the column url excluded because "Anomaly during the exploration" including the homepage of the site (it's bad kind!). All except some good current urls give a 404 error.
I saw that it was absolutely necessary to remove these urls with error 404 because Google did not do it naturally.
The excluded pages and the urls (image) are:
* essentially spam
* old wordpress urls that had a flaw
none are placed in the index.
* some correct urls whose root of the site :-(

Can your extension help me eliminate those urls that have a pattern identified as "buy", "wp-content" ...?

Regards

www.onsite.xyz/agenda/mon-evenement-date1, www.onsite.xyz/agenda/mon-evenement-date2, ...

* essentiellement du spam
* anciennes urls wordpress qui avait une faille
aucunes n'on leur place dans l'index.
* quelques urls correctes dont la racine du site :-(

Est-ce que votre extension peut m'aider pour éliminer ces urls qui ont un pattern identifié "buy", "wp-content" ... ?
Cordialement

Hi

1 - sh404SEF is fully compatible with Joomla multilingual system.
2 - DPCalendar: we do not have any reported issue with it and we do not provide specific support for it either. We have users for both sh404SEF and DPCalendar.
3 -
Will I be able to generate separate URLs for recurring events
Automatically generated URLs will be exactly the same as those provided by DPCalendar. Of course, you can also manually customize any URL on your site. I would assume DPCalendar generate different URLs for each individual events, I don't see how it can work otherwise but you might want to check with them.
4 - We do not generate any sitemap. There are specialized extensions for that. Sitemap are rarely useful for small to medium sized sites unless there's a crawling issue. I agree that if your site is based on events, it might be good to have a sitemap with your events though.
5 - Many of users use Page Builder, there's no open issues with PageBuilder

I saw with amazement that the homepage of the site (ndd several years and redone at the beginning of the year with joomla instead of wp) was not indexed by putting "onsort.eu" in the search engine google. By going into the GG console, I can not get it re-indexed.
That seems normal. You have a redirect on the home page from onsite.eu to onsite.eu/fr. This means it's a bit like the onsite.eu page simply does not exist. It's not a problem at all, all your content is simply at onsite.eu/fr

All except some good current urls give a 404 error.
What you see on the Search Console might be very outdated. Especially 404s. They will come back to check if a page is still a 404 on occasion but that can take a lot of times (month, up to a year usually).

If you redid your site early this year, going from WordPress to Joomla, all your URLs have changed so it is normal to have many 404s, unless you have put redirect in place from old WordPress URLs to new Joomla URLs. sh404SEF can help you there because we have a very strong redirect manager. But after several month, you probably don't need to add redirects, it's already too late I would say.

I saw that it was absolutely necessary to remove these urls with error 404 because Google did not do it naturally.
Removing actual and real 404 has absolutely no importance. Having real 404s has no importance and it will not damage your ranking and search results.

I'm not sure I understood exactly what you said here but again: you only need to fix URLs where Google says it's a 404 and YOU say the URL works.
If Google says it's a 404 and the URL really is a 404, you don't have anything to do or say.

That's where I realized that there were thousands of urls (probably old site) i
Currently the site has only a few URLs. Are the other pages accessed only after logging-in/creating an account?

* some correct urls whose root of the site :-(
Again, today, the root URL is not accessible, it's redirected to /fr, so it's normal to not have it indexed.

Best regards
