Hi

Can I use sh404SEF to exclude specific custom components from SEF urls

I have a few custom components installed that do not support SEF urls so want to exclude them but keep the rest of the website using SEF urls

Thanks

Andy

Hi

Yes, you can select how to route URLs per component when using sh404SEF, including leaving URLs as non-SEF.

Best regards

ok great, can I exclude whole components or modules without having to specify each url?

As some urls are generated dynamically by the component

Hi

You can only exclude components, and you excluded them entirely. You cannot exclude a module because modules don't have their own URLs, only components do.

Also, all of this only concerns URLs that are routed through the Joomla API - ie JRoute::_('index.php?option=com_customcomp&....') of course as this is the only way sh404SEF has access to a site URLs.

Best regards
