Hello!

I would like to know how accurate is the analytics that is incorporated on the backend of sh404SEF? In addition, how do I know the difference between bots and real visitors? Another question, is it possible to exclude my visit from the stats? Thanks in advance.

Hi

What you see in the backend is Google analytics data reports which is usually considered pretty accurate. Using Google Analytics lets you separate between bots and real visitors, to some extent at least by having different "views" (all of that is done in Google analytics).

Excluding your own visits is easier, as sh404SEF lets you decide to exclude entirely visits by IP address, joomla access level or by user group (if you are logged in).

Best regards

Hi again

I would suggest taking a lookt at the documentation (on this page and the following) to get an exact idea.

Best regards
