HI,

we want use SEO immediatelly, without any other features, the are not necessary for SEO (no SEF, no rewriting, no Google analytics). They will be used later.

What is the minimum technical requirements for using SEO ?

Thanks,

Michel

Hi

1 - What do you mean exactly by "use SEO"? what feature are you looking for?

2 - Using sh404SEF SEF URLs is the minimum requirements, pretty much all other features of sh404SEF are based on that. If you disable sh404SEF SEF URL management, the entire component is disabled as well.

The technical requirements are listed on this page of the documentation.

Best regards

Hi,

sorry, it was reallly not clear, what I want.

To your question:
What do you mean exactly by "use SEO"? what feature are you looking for?

The very first requirement: To get the website davidmihalka.com on the top of result list by using search keywords:

"David Mihalka"
"Bundesplatz Wasserspiel"

Because of lack of time we need a quick solution. I thought only using meta data solves the problem.

The answer: Using metadata.

Because I'm afraid to destroy the site with SEF Url (rewriting) - If I understood well, then there is no way back - therefore I 'll test your product deeply.

Thanks a lot in advance,

Michel

Hi

I thought only using meta data solves the problem.
Ranking for "David Mihalka" should be pretty easy. The first thing to do would be of course to redirect the davidinfrontofthecamera.com site to the new one. As for "Bundesplatz Wasserspiel", this is a generic term, I don't see how you can rank for that at all. Meta data is a requirement for any site.

As mentioned earlier, setting up meta data with sh404SEF indeed requires that it manages URLs.

One way or the other, I would suggest hiring an SEO specialist as you are in a very competitive field and it won't be easy to rank for the queries you want.

Best regards

Hi,

thanks a lot for individual support. We have an additional question , it is individual as well (we know, that such questions are not included in support - we will honor it):

We use our own category list (combined with product detail): https://davidmihalka.com/en/categories/happy-fountain#5

Question, how to get search engine friendly ? Remark: The page https://davidmihalka.com/en/categories/happy-fountain/goal is not used, it should have a different name.

Thanks in advance,

Michel

Hi

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by "how to get search engine friendly". Also, I don't understand why you are talking about the /en/happy-fountain/goal URL?

Best regards

Hi

sorry for quick and dirty description.

The question is , how to rewrite such addresses https://davidmihalka.com/en/categories/happy-fountain#5. #5 should be replaced with the product title, in that case "goal".
But the https://davidmihalka.com/en/categories/happy-fountain/goal addresses is already used for the product detail page, which page sould be hidden. I could imagine something like this: https://davidmihalka.com/en/categories/happy-fountain/pic/goal.

The question is how to do it.

Thanks, Michel

Hi

The question is , how to rewrite such addresses https://davidmihalka.com/en/categories/happy-fountain#5. #5 should be replaced with the product title, in that case "goal".
That's not possible automatically because #5 is actually not part of the URL, it's only a "fragment". You can entirely remove it, the page will load the same ( only the selected image will be different I believe).
Sh404SEF will leave those untouched.

But the https://davidmihalka.com/en/categories/happy-fountain/goal addresses is already used for the product detail page, which page sould be hidden
Whether the page is hidden or not is not related to its URL. You can change the URL, it will not "hide" the page.

OK, i just realized you are actually a subscriber. You posted in the "pre-sale" forum. I would suggest you now open a real support ticket at our helpdesk to continue this conversation is needs be.

Best regards
