I'm in the process of upgrading a site from Joomla 2.5 to 3. The current site uses sh404SEF to produce URLs in the format as follows:

https://www.sitename.com/(article_date in yyyymmdd format}{article ID}/category-name/article-title.html

e.g.

https://www.sitename.com/2018061523548/industry-news/new-product-launched.html

I need to retain the article URLs in this format after the Joomla upgrade. Will using sh404SEF on Joomla 3 allow me to do this?

Hi

I'm in the process of upgrading a site from Joomla 2.5 to 3.
If you simply upgrade your site from 2.x to 3.x, the URLs will remain the same as the article id and article creation date will remain the same.
Actually, the URL form sh404SEF are stored in the database so they will just be re-used as is.

Best regards
