Hello-do you offer any discounts for SH404SEF+WBAMP?
Thank you!
Thank you!
Helpdesk is open from Monday through Friday CET
Why not for your extensions for customer that want to buy both of them?Basically because a discount means that we have to increase the price to compensate for discounts. Our choice is to keep our (very large) extensions to the lowest price possible point for anyone. If you buy 2 extensions from us, it does not reduce the cost of developping them or support. The only discount we offer is for renewals: if you are renewing, you're already familiar with the product and only looking for updates mostly, so there is possibly a reduced cost here.
It seems to me that your company is posting the discounts just for the buzz.(or maybe they are old)We do not offer discounts and are not in search of buzz. None of the discount coupons code you link to in your Google seach are from us. I repeat: none are from us and I believe are just invalid.
Can you enlighten me the REAL VALUE of SH404SEO with RSSEO?I am not familiar enough with RSSEO to do that. I'd say the first difference is of course that we handle URLs: this not only allows us to basically remove the duplicate content issues that Joomla generates, but then of course makes all URLs on your site available to you for customization, meta management, schema.org tagging. Then theres' analytic/GTM, social sharing buttons, the ever more powerful redirects/canonical manager with generic rules, built-in URL shortener, 404 error page with similar URLs proposals, 404 errors individual or generic redirects, automatic description generation, OGP/Twitter Cards generation, security features,...
If for any reason i need to revert to the original joomla urls -is it possible to "reset" everything to default?.Well if you simply set "Enable URL optimization" to "No", then you get back the Joomla URLs.
If i need to migrate to another website/template/ without the sh404sef installed is it possible? -or i need to re-do everything?Redo what exactly? not sure I understand what you mean.
I also had sh404sef-which messed up all the links on the import/exportNope. sh404SEF is not involved in an export/import process. My buest guess is that you had hardcoded link - ie created links as /some-page instead of using the Joomla non-sef: index.php?option=com_[redacted]. The latter is the only way to keep URLs independant.
is it something that sh404sef can handle automatically? There is nothing to handle unless you hardcode your links. sh404SEF is just an addon to the Joomla routing API. Just don't hardcode your links and you can go all the way to Joomla 5, 6 and more.
will sh404sef work if joomla global settings are without html suffix? for pages?
will sh404sef add automatically .php or .html?Well it's a setting, why would you want sh404SEF to add a suffix if not asked to?
