Hi,

For some reason all my external urls are being sent to https and not http. I am not sure if this is a setting I have missed or some other strange problem going on.
My site is on https

Hi,

1 - sh404SEF is not involved in the domain part of the URLs, only the path, after the domain. So it does not deal with http or https. In addition, we also only deal with internal URLs, not external.
2 - I would suggest you check your Joomla SEF system plugin, there is a "canonical" field there that can be set to the wrong URL. Again though, that should not affect external URLs.

right I found the culprit! It was Admin Tools, SEO and Link settings the convert all links to https was set to YES.

Hi

Ah ok, good to know. Maybe you should report that to them. It should not change links to external URLs (ie onto other domains).
