Hello,
I tested both sh404SEF and Router66n in "localhost", Which both were good enough, Which I want use Router66 for Hikashop and maybe for some other components in the future. when I enable URL optimization in sh404SEF it will make a lot of problems with Router66! Now there's a question:
How can set sh404SEF to let Router66 work fine, without problem?

Best regards,
Mohammad amin

Hi

I don't know the details of Route66, but it is an extension that does in part the same thing as sh404SEF, ie it build URLs. It is expected that they cannot be used on the same site. I suspect Route66 also breaks many features of sh404SEF.

In the future, please only use the helpdesk fo request support.

This component, sh404SEF, has a lot of problems with Hikashop and many other plugins. In fact, It's not working for Hikashop, and Hikashop internal SEF is more better than sh404SEF. I just wanted to sure that it is working or not!
And about Router66 ..., I have purchased it and it's working perfect with Hikashop! I don't have any worries about it. as well as no other plugin is making SEF URLs like that before! In other side, sh404SEF has a lot of other options wich can help a lot!
I'm not purchased sh404SEF yet and just in "local test" before publishing the site and making it Online for search engines!
As you mentioned "I suspect Route66 also breaks many features of sh404SEF", it's better to don't use sh404SEF for better compatibility. I will try more and if can't implement Router66 into sh404SEF, so you're right and I have to just use one of them.
Any way, Thank you again for your attention.
Have a nice time.

Well we have a large number of sh404SEF and Hikashop users, so I will totally disagree with that.

I'm not purchased sh404SEF yet
So where did you get it from?

Ok, but maybe it's not important for them to produce duplicate URLs. I had tried with a product wich is inside of 3 level categories in Hikashop. Each level has it's own problem.
Problem with category level 1: products showing under this category having a different URL than their main full category path!
Problem with category level 2 and more: level 1 problem is exists plus a new problem which is redirecting to the home page or not showing the full category path regarding to the settings! Also product URL in the card (basket) is different from the main full path with category listing. Maybe there are more problems, but these were my biggest problems till now.
I'm sure sh404SEF is a good component, but realy it needs a way to let the Administrator to adjust a new router (custom router) for his component. This future will make it more easier for your customers to customize their configuration.

So where did you get it from?

A friend! Be sure it's not nulled and it's the full version, so I have no worry about which code is nulled and nulling problems. I want to setup my site for commercial use with Hikashop e-commerce and know that nulled components and plugins have a lot of problems (for example, SEO Problems, stealing problems and many many more!).
Because of sh404SEF famous, I asked a friend for his main site backup for my local tests. This is where I get it (just for prePurchase test).

Sorry for my bad english,
Best regards,
Mohammad amin.

Hi

Well, I cannot really know without seeing the site, and of course I cannot provide you with any support. I can only comment on this for instance:
products showing under this category having a different URL than their main full category path!
That's usually the way ecommerce sites want it. It allows correct navigation within the categories. If you have the same URL in all categories, then a user clicks on a product link, they will then change categories, which is not desired. HIkashop (or Virtuemart) normally uses a rel=canonical tag to be sure there is no duplicate content.
Also product URL in the card (basket) is different from the main full path with category listing
Same. What matters is rel=canonical tags (provided by HIkashop/Virtuemart).

Like I said, we cannot provide support, and thus cannot go any further in this discussion, but I encourage you to look deeper in what you describe.
