Hi,
I have a J3.6.5 installation and some problems with Joomla default SEF component. Currently the urls are like this:

myweb.com/category-alias/articleid-articlealias

Now for some reason when you open myweb.com/articleid-anytext. Then the frontpage opens. I want to redirect this wrong attempts either to the right URL above or to a 404 page.

Its very important that I keep my URL structure like myweb.com/category-alias/articleid-articlealias

Yes, this is an issue with the Joomla router which, apparently in the interest of performance, behaves that way instead of firing a 404. sh404SEF will not do that, and stricly enforce the generated URLS, including the URL structure you mention (assuming you are talking about standard Joomla content - separate content extensions, Zoo, FlexiContent or even Ecommerce, may behave differently).

Yes I use default Joomla content, so we can fix this issue with sh404SEF, great.
We will buy it from another account. :)
