For convenience of users the goods in virtuemart are added to the main category and a subcategory. Whether the double address of goods auto corrects your component?
For example, the item is available to such addresses - site.com/category/item.html and site.com/category/subcategory/item.html.
It is necessary that only on they are site.com/category/subcategory/item.html

Hi

In such cases, I'm pretty sure Virtuemart adds a canonical link to the secondary categories, so I don't think you need to do anything else. You should check with Virtuermart about this.

Hi

You should NOT change those URLs. They are good. If the product is in another category, it should have another URL. Then a canonical tag must be added to avoid multiple URLs for same content.
