Hey, I am pretty new with your plugin sh404SEF - Joomla! Extension Directory. I just installed because I wanted to imporve SEO. Of course the plugin is complex and takes time to understand and navigate correctly.

Since I have not have the time I just installed and I was hoping it will improve s.th...

I turned of the plug in because it changed my URL. Please see the problem with images in my article in the joomla forum:http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=706&t=929350&p=3415492#p3415492

What can I do to not have this problem and still work with your plugin. To be honest I have no idea if my setting improve my SEO. I am little lost with all your different options...

Well, it is one of the main purpose of sh404SEF to change your site URL structure (for better ones) so this is something you have to take care of, with redirects or canonicals.

I would suggest you open a ticket at the helpdesk, to go through this with more details.
