Hello,

I have a question before buying SH404SEF.
Right now our website is running under Joomla 2.5. I am going to migrate to Joomla 3.5 soon.

As you recommanded to use the last version of the product, I would like to update SH404SEF in Joomla 2.5 and I hope it will be easier t migratre.
I would like to know if it is the same product or if I have to buy two products separetely. There is no information on the ordering page.

Hi

You never have to buy two subscription to get sh404SEF (or our other products). They all cover all versions. However, as you probably know, support for Joomla 2.5 was totally dropped at the end of last. So the current version does not support Joomla 2.5 (it won't install).

There should be no trouble passing from J2 to J3 from an sh404SEF standpoint. However, you indeed should upgrade to the latest Joomla 2.5 version of sh404SEF, which is available (for subscribers) under the "End of lifed extensions" group.

I can't stress enough how important it is to keep all your extensions fully updated, just like you do for Joomla, but that's your choice.

Thank you for your qucik reply.

My concern is about K2 version 2.7.0. I tried ton install it but it is not working without the plugin sold to be made compatible with SH404SEF.
My last question is: does the last version of SH404SEF for Joomla 2.5 work the K2 version 2.7.0?

I have no idea, and this is not something we can test, as support for Joomla 2.5 is over.

If K2 2.7 works on Joomla 2.5, I don't see why there would be any problem with the latest J2.5 compatible version of sh404SEF, but I don't know for sure.
