Hi, our old site was on Joomla 2.5.8 and it had mosets option in sh404sef.

But in new website 3.4.8 , I dont see any mosets specific option in sh404sef.

Did Mosets have dedicated plugin to configure it now ?

Or how to do it ?

Hi

URL optional settings were removed a looong time ago, it was in Joomla 1.0 and 1.5 only, but not later (from recollection). We currently only use the Mosets router.php file.

Okay!
How do I customize it ?
Like I want to remove 2-3 things from the URL.

Hi

You can't put general rules for extensions we don't support (unless Mosets itself has settings about URL configuration). You can of course and as usual customize any URL manually from the URL manager.

I have an established website with Mosets + sh404sef with over 15000 URL.

Not possible to go edit every other URL in the URL manager.

Any workaround, without getting into the router.php ?

Hi

No workaround. The question to ask is whether you want to go for hacking the router.php or writing a custom sh404SEF plugin for Mosets. The router.php file will have to be redone or at least verified upon each update of mosets.
A custom sh404SEF plugin (can be based on the information in the router.php file though the code can't be used directly) can be more work because you don't have starting base, but more robust for the future. It's also simpler as you only have to write code to build the URL (no code to parse the URL, as it comes from the database).

So, to match the old URLs, the only solution is pasting all 15000 Urls as 301 redirect inside the HTACCESS file ?
