Hello,

I searched this forum for any topic related to migrating sh404SEF from J1.5 to J3.

I was not able to find anything.

Any information & tips will be appreciated.
I have very strong knowledge in programming, but I'm sure how previous experience of you guys can save me a lot of time.

On what should I pay attention? Where to be carefull.

Any kind of help will be appreciated.

First question is about URL manage in J1.5
I was not able to find table that corresponds to URL manager in J1.5. I tried with export tool that is built in sh404, but I was not able to import that data to sh404 on J3. It say how data format is not good.

Hi

I searched this forum for any topic related to migrating sh404SEF from J1.5 to J3.
This is a pre-sale forum, there's no technical or support information in it.

Support is done through our helpdesk

Import/export cannot work between J1.5 and more recent versions, as non-SEF URLs (the Joomla internal URLs) have changed. The most common way to migrate is actually do nothing: as long as your content is arranged in the same way (same categories, same titles/aliases), sh404SEF should create the same SEF URLs, and you should be pretty ok.
If some URLs are slightly different, you can always manually customize them to match exactly their older counterpart.
