I am running sh404SEF 4.4.6 on my Joomla 2.5 site, and am getting ready to upgrade to joomla 3.xx.
I am unable to find documentation on the weeblr siteas to whether that version will work on joomla 3 or not.
Joomla updater failed for this component, and so did the updater from within sh404sef, so if I need to update I'll have to do so manually.

Looking forward to your reply.

p.s. I've tried to submit a support ticket but saw no 'create new ticket' option.

Hi

I am running sh404SEF 4.4.6 on my Joomla 2.5 site, and am getting ready to upgrade to joomla 3.xx.

I am unable to find documentation on the weeblr siteas to whether that version will work on joomla 3 or not.
The requirements for sh404SEF are listed in the documentation. We do not provide support for any such ancient version, and it is not expected that such an old version can work on recent Joomla sites.
Joomla updater failed for this component
I don't know what updater you use and what it does, but there's basically nothing to do, assuming you keep sh404SEF updated to the current version, as you should for any extension on your site.
and so did the updater from within sh404sef, so if I need to update I'll have to do so manually
The updater should work fine if valid credentials have been added to configuration (see "Updating" documentation as well). There are situation where the server config can prevent it to operate, but that's more a support question. You are on a pre-sale forum, so we won't handle that here. Please open a support ticket if problem persists.

It looks to me like you do not have an sh404SEF subscription. This would explain that (both not being able to create a support ticket.
