Hi,

Congratulation on being able to run 'SH404Sef' as you wanted / intended.
Last year i had to opt for other component as i upgraded my old site / webtore (I was on J1.5!!!) since Sh404Sef didn't paly along with the new option (Hikashop + Falang).
Are the problems with Falang already solved, or almost?
Can we trust the solution keeps working work for the forseable future as new versions of the relevant components became available? (i know one can not predict this - but what is you expectation?)
How hard would i be to migrate from the other component (JoomS..).
I really always loved SH404SEf and hope to be able to change back to it
PS: I don't have automatic URL generation - we recreate every URL by hand - i presume that might simplify conversion to Sh404Sef

Best regards

Hi

The Falang question is not solved. There are differences between the structure of Joomla multilingual system and Falan that needs to be overcome. We've been exchanging some detailed emails, and right now I'm waiting on an answer to my last one, but to be honest, this will take time.

As for moving in from Joomsef, it all depends on what you have to move across. If you create URLs manually (why??), then it's simply a matter of recreating the URLs. I assume some of it can even be automated in a way, with some export/import from Joomsef db tables. If you have custom meta data, it can become a bit trickier, but certainly doable.

Rgds
