Good Afternoon,

I'm looking for a component/extension that can assist me with some issues I am having with SEF URL's and odd indexing. So far, the sh404SEF extension looks to be ideal for me. However, my website is hosted on a Windows server which I know is rather unusual. This means that we use a webconfig file to configure rewrites as opposed to Apache/htaccess on Linux.

Before purchasing I wanted to inquire as to if this extension is compatible with a Windows server and webconfig.

Hi

As per the sh404SEF requirements, we don't test on IIS as we basically not have any knowledge or even machine set up for that - and no demand to be honest.

That said, URL rewriting is something happening at web level server, so sh404SEF is not concerned by it really as it only operates inside Joomla. I would not foresee any issue but of course it needs to be tested. You can always take advantage of the refund policy if there's an unsurmountable problem anyway.
