Hi,

I've a main website accessible via the following url : www.ouskierenfrance.com
This website based on Joomla provided dedicated pages for ski resort like for instance :
- http://ouskierenfrance.com/location-ski-val-thorens

On another hand I've registerd dedicated domain names for these resorts like chamonix-sport2000.com or valthorens-sport2000.com pointing to the IP address of the server hosting ouskierenfrance.com.

I would like that the url of the resort page on my main website will be renamed when :
- the user access the resort page when browsing the website
- the user types the dedicated name of the ski resort within the url bar of his/her browser.
Instead of http://ouskierenfrance.com/location-ski-chamonix.html, the url address in the browser should be http://chamonix-sport2000.com.
Thus Google will take in account the dedicated domain name of the resorts to index this page.

I checked online forum but nothing about this use case.
I guess I've to write some rules within the htaccess but as I'm not a coder, I've no clue about that.
I'm just wondering if a component like SEF would offer this ability.

Please help me

Hi

.htaccess is best for that sort of things as it's faster, but you can also use the Joomla Redirect component to the same effect, without having to do any coding!
