I migrated the content from an old 1.5 joomla website with sh404sef component to a fresh new joomla 3 and installed again the sh404sef. All the categories, pages, images, menus and so in the new j3 are the same now as the old 1.5, only how do I now get all the content from the old sh404sef to the new? It contains many 301 redirects, custom urls, descriptions, etc, To do it all manually would be too much work. Is there a simple method for that?

Hi

There's no automatic method that we know of. We maintained backward compatibility (and still do today), from Joomla 1.6 to the current 3.4.4, but Joomla 1.5 is an entirely different thing, as it was using different non-sef urls. All custom data (custom urls, 301, desc) being attached to the non-sef URL, they can't be transferred automatically from 1.5 to 1.6+.
If you kept the same categories structure and article titles, you should already get the same SEF URL, thus preserving most of the backlinks.

It certainly is possible to write a script to adjust the Joomla non-sef URLs from the 1.5 to 3.x format directly inside the database, and thus recover most of the custom data. Such script would have to take into account the difference in categories and articles ids going from the old site to the new, on top of the URL structure, so it's really specific to your site, but it's quite doable by most php programmer.
