Can I use this product with virtuemart 2.6.6 and Joomla 2.5.28?

Can the plugin enable me to add social bookmarks to the images of my VM products on the product details pages?

Hi

sh404SEF comes with a VM plugin. Social sharing buttons display can only be enabled automatically for Joomla! standard content and K2 items. You can however place a specific tag {sh404sef_social_buttons} anywhere on anypage (including in products description for instance) to manually insert said buttons exactly where you want them.

Not sure what duplicate content on same URL is. What sh404SEF certainly does is making sure, as much as can be, that same content is always accessed through same URL.

I mean, if different languages on my site display the same virtue mart content or if the same VM content appears under different categories - can this plugin minimize the risk of duplicate content?

If you're under different languages, and most of the text on a page is in different language, you shouldn't fear any duplicate content issue.
As for having a product in different categories, I was under the impression that Virtuemart already added appropriate canonical tags?

Thanks, I'll check out the issue of canonical tags.
Another question: I started having issues with multilingual virtuemart and SEF url's, so I disabled it in Joomla. Is there a chance I could use your plugin for SEF or would I have the same problems?
