Hi,

Excluding a custom component doesn't seem to work properly.
I'm using version 4.13.1.3756.
Only by disabling sh404sef it works fine.
I use "joomla router" in settings.
Nevertheless sh404sef creates a url and stores it in the db.
The link in the frontend menu shows domain.com/our-team (as it should), on click it redirects to
domain.com/our-team.html?view=list which is wrong.
Disabling sh404sef is the only way it works correctly.
Or am i overlooking a setting anywhere?

Additional, can the suffix (.html) be switched per component with sh404sef?

Hi

Ok let me rephrase my question than....

It's not about rephrasing. This support category is for pre-sale questions. If you have a technical support question, as you do have, you should post it in the corresponding support category (sh404SEF here). We provide support to our users with an active, paid subscription in these private helpdesk section.

I disagree. Prior to renewing (pre-sales as far as i'm concerned) a subscription i need to know if it's possible or not. Otherwise i pay for something which does not functionate how it's suppose to.

This is pre-sale. The answer is no. You can see that yourself because you are using sh404SEF at this moment.

Hi is it possible to use the default sef function of Joomla for custom components and use sh404sef for all other components in both modern and legacy way?

sh404SEF does not have "modern" or "legacy" modes. If you are talking about "Using Joomla router" for one or more component, then yes, you can, as you know already because you are doing it.

Whether it "works" for your particular component, I don't know as it 100% depends on your custom component. We can only work on the URLs sh404SEF produce, not the URLs produced by the Joomla router and your component router.php file.

So as with all custom components, you will have to test for yourself, and possibly adjust either your router.php file or write a dedicated sh404SEF plugin to get desired SEF URLs in all cases.
