I installed 4AI Community and tried to configure Google Gemini as API provider. However, Google AI Studio is now generating API keys with the new AQ. prefix format instead of the old AIza format. The 4AI configuration field rejects this key with the error "Should not be empty. Only letters, dashes (-), underscores (_) and numbers."

Please update 4AI to support the new Google Gemini API key format (AQ. prefix).

Hi,

Thanks for the report, I'll change that. But please also note that Gemini API support is not included in the Community version, it only uses the OpenAI API (FAQ).

I can see that you can still enter a key for Google, which I'll also fix.

Just to clarify, I have the Pro version of 4AI ($69/year), not the Community version. So Gemini support should be available on my end.

Could you let me know when the fix for the AQ. key format will be released?

Just to clarify, I have the Pro version of 4AI ($69/year), not the Community version.

OK but you posted in the "Other weeblr extensions" category", which is for free extensions, that normally don't come with any support.

It matters, the level of attention and speed is definitely not the same here as in the 4AI support area.

That updated version is available in the development versions download area, you can download it now.
