Hello,

I have renewed my 4SEO license and I am now submitting the ticket in the correct category.

Here is the situation after several days of testing:

  1. Server-side actions (as confirmed by the hosting provider)
My hosting provider reviewed the server configuration and stated that everything required for loopback crawling is now enabled. According to them, HTTP loopback on 127.0.0.1 is active, local requests to the domain should work, ModSecurity and Imunify are not blocking anything, DNS resolution works correctly from the server, and LiteSpeed configuration was adjusted according to their understanding of the requirements.

Despite this, the issue remains unchanged.

  1. Current behavior in 4SEO
When I click “Run Analysis”, the process starts and finishes within one or two seconds, showing “Page analysis completed”, but zero pages are collected.

  2. Logs
There are no visible errors related to 4SEO in the Joomla logs.

  3. Request for clarification
Since hosting providers often do not fully understand the exact technical requirements for Joomla internal crawling, I would like to ask you to specify precisely what 4SEO needs in a LiteSpeed environment so I can forward this back to them.

Could you please clarify:

• What exact LiteSpeed, ModSecurity or firewall rules must allow internal crawling for 4SEO?
• Does 4SEO require specific headers, user-agent allowance or more than just 127.0.0.1:80 access?
• Does 4SEO rely strictly on HTTP loopback, or can it also work over the public domain/IP internally?
• Which technical conditions must be met so that internal crawling does not immediately end with “0 pages”?

The component was fully functional before the server was migrated from Apache to LiteSpeed, and it stopped working immediately after that change.

Here is the environment for reference:
Joomla 5
PHP 8.1
LiteSpeed Web Server
4SEO (v6.3.2.2509)

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Hi

At the moment when I originally submitted my ticket, I did have an active license.

You should have posted in the proper category then, this would have sped up the whole process.

Can 4SEO be fully functional in my environment or not?

Of course it does, your environment is nothing special,a ssuming you configured it correctly. Most of these issues are wrongly configured DNS (requests from the Joomla site to the Joomla site are failing, as server can't resolve its own name.

If that's not the case, then things to look at are robots.txt, noindex, etc

So yes, 4SEO will work on any properly configured webserver.

If you still require support, please renew and post in the appropriate category. If you do so, make sure to have a look at the log files in the Joomla log folder, they usually will have good hints about what's happening.

Best regards

Hi

I have renewed my 4SEO license and I am now submitting the ticket in the correct category.

Not really, you published it in the "Other Weeblr extensions" category, which means it's now entirely public, as mentioned on the ticket itself.

4SEO has exactly zero requirement on the server. Where Joomla works, it will work.

I have no idea why you are focused on your server, Litespeed or PHP from the start.

So please now:

1. Open your ticket in the 4SEO category.

I provided you with a direct link in your 1st ticket, and am putting it back here: https://weeblr.com/helpdesk/4seo.

2. Do not copy again all these details about your server, they serve no purpose

3. Provide the full and real URL to the server

4. Provide superadmin credentials to your website.
You can create a temporary account, and delete it afterward, but it must be a superuser
Just paste the credentials here in this ticket and use the email address [email protected].

Best regards,
Yannick Gaultier
