Rebuild sitemap has no effect on the sitemap content. It rebuilds the sitemap when you cleared the cached files for instance.
Sitemap is built automatically (don't click on anything) when a full analysis of the website has been completed at least once. Pages listed in the sitemap are based on the pages showing on the Pages page.
Of course, without full and real URL to your website, it's not possible to give more advice or check anything but you may want to read this paragraph of the documentation on how Sitemaps are generated.

So, do you have some pages listed there? did you run the analysis manually in case you don't have enough traffic? has the analysis completed?
