Hello, I recently purchased your 4SEO product. I am upgrading from Joomla 3 using sh404SEF - I purchased your plugin so that I can keep the same URL's the were generated by sh404SEF but its not working. What do I need to do??

4SEO has nothing to do with URLs and is not a successor to sh404SEF in that way. We outlined how our products will move from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4 last year in this blog post, and provided regular updates since then through our newsletter, which I encourage you to read to be updated on such changes and other updates.

In short:

- 4SEF will import and take over URLs generation - and only URL generation

- 4SEO imports meta data, redirects, custom canonical, generate Open Graph - and of course add structured data, sitemaps, broken links detection, content replacer and more

We are in the final weeks of this moving into place:

- 4SEF has been in private beta testing for a couple of month, and should be released to all sh404SEF subscribers to beta test this week or next at most (travelling to JoomlaDay FR this week, may slow things down)

- 4SEO import from sh404SEF (meta data, redirect, canonical) is also entering beta testing (you can download the first version from the development versions download area )
