#8558 – You cannot select a file!
Hi
As this is the first such report in more than 9 months, I think it's more likely that another extension is breaking 4SEO, either due to a javascript error or some CSS.
Do you see any error listed in the browser console?

Hi Yannick,
seems it is a Mac Safari Error, this browser is a little bit more sensitive with CSS errors. Your logo, which is a SVG, triggers a lot of errors on wrong attributes: Error: Invalid value for <svg> attribute width=„1.5rem" The unit rem is apparently not permitted with SVG styles, this is probably an export-setting problem in your graphics program.Regards Hermann
Hi
this is probably an export-setting problem in your graphics program.
It is not, we use only rem throughouts, the SVG are not coming from a graphic program but are components in our Single page application, where dimensions and other attributes are added dynamically based on the use case.
Your logo, which is a SVG, triggers a lot of errors on wrong attributes: Error: Invalid value for <svg> attribute width=„1.5rem"
Is this what's causing the issue? just the logo? in any case, all icons are svg and will have their size set in the same way.
Safari is not part of our supported browsers list precisely because of these sorts of CSS quirks, the fact it's a bit behind in terms of standard support and lastly that it requires Apple hardware to just be able to test.
I'd suggest using one of the other browsers, either a chromium-based one or Firefox, which are the ones we support.

We are webdesigners... next time we will answer this to our customers when they found an issue with safari... use another browser! :D
But you are right, safari is extremly sensitive with SVG grafics, but I don't know if this causes the problem with the file-chooser.

Hi

Safari is just not "supportable" at this stage for practical reasons. We are not webdesigners, and I find it an acceptable compromise to ask website creators or maintainers to use a modern browser.
But you are right, safari is extremly sensitive with SVG grafics, but I don't know if this causes the problem with the file-chooser.
If it works in other browsers, then it is related to Safari standard compatibility and that's not something we can fix - I can't even log-in and see what you are seeing! If you can reproduce with another browser, then we can work on it.
Side note: 4SEO has been released more than 9 months ago like I said, and nobody ever reported this so maybe it's not so much about CSS. Have you checked your browser console as suggested earlier?
Best regards
