Your screenshots shows the DEFAULT image:
That image is not supposed to be used. This is the image that's displayed when no other image selected.
But on https://www.example.com/, there are images, so 4SEO has automatically selected one of the images that are present on the page:
If that image does not suits you - which is the case, then you should manually select an image for the home page, on the Pages page in 4SEO. See Social networks documentation here.
When testing social networks sharing, it's always best to just look at the actual OpenGraph tags included in your page.
