hello
I read that wbamp was compatible with flexicontent. On the other hand you talked about manually adding meta data
So I have a small question should you add these meta data on all urls or just in the plugin admin
thank you in advance

Hi

I read that wbamp was compatible with flexicontent
Where?

wbAMP is basically with all extensions, as it will convert safely pretty much any output to a valid AMP page.

That doesn't mean the resulting AMP page will:

- look nice
- have appropriate meta data

AMP-specific meta data, such as author name, publication data, a representative image, is not required any longer for validation, but they are required to be able to be displayed in "top stories", in AMP carousel, etc, which are very valuable for SEO and is basically what you are looking after when implementing AMP most of the times.

If you want that, then you will need to provide appropriate meta data, as described on this page of the documentation.

We can load this information automatically for Joomla content and K2, but not for other extensions. It would probably be a good idea to ask the Flexicontent people to write a plugin to provide that information automatically, and thus become AMP-compatible.

If you are not aiming at appearing on the Top Stories or AMP carousel, then you can do without the meta data.
