We're pleased to announce the release of 4Analytics version 6.1.0. This is a feature and maintenance release, compatible with Joomla 3 to 6 without a compatibility plugin.

It also accompanies updates to the AI analysis service, now using a more recent AI model and improved data processing and prompting.

Here are the highlights:

  •  AI analysis now computes and sends a short historical baseline dataset, to better identify up or down trends
  • Provide more data to the AI analysis: breakdown of views and referrer by source (search, ai, social,...). Also increase precision, duration down to the seconds and percentage down to 0.1%
  • Old signature format for emailed report links are now rejected (were replaced by new format in version 5.0.2)
  • Common extra query variables (fbclid,...) were not stripped from stored URLs if the 'Only Path' option was disabled in tracking rule parameters (not the default)
  • Possible javascript fatal error in the admin after moving a website from one host to another
  • Sometimes emailed reports can be sent even if there's no data for that period
  • Accessibility: H2 titles on printed reports, and subtitles on "half-doughnut" charts are WCAG 2.2 AA instead of AAA
  • At very low width, half-doughnut charts can overflow the page horizontally
  • At very low width, on printed reports, campaigns results table can overflow the page horizontally
  • At very low width, earth map overflows the page horizontally
