Hi
No, I cannot see anything from your site. I would never do that, and I have no reason to do that.
It's actually the opposite: your site can see some new configuration data, without me having to make a new version. It's useful in some cases.
For instance, sh404SEF knows that the update server is located at http://u1.weeblr.com/public/direct/sh404sef/legacy/sh404sef_updates.xml, and this is where it looks to find if there are some new versions.
But if for some reason we have to change servers, and move the update server to another address like http://u1.anotherserver.com/public/direct/sh404sef/legacy/sh404sef_updates.xml, then it means all the sh404SEF installed in the world will try to search for updates at the address, they know, but this address is no longer the right one. And changing the address requires that I do a new version of sh404SEF, with the new address.
With remote configuration on, I only need to change the address of the new server, and all sh404SEF in the world knows instantly that they have to look for updates at the new address, not the old one.
Hope this is clear. The important thing of course is that remote configuration do not let us read anything from your site. It's only the other way around, your site can read some data from us.
