Hi,

Here's a starnge issue, I think.
All my menu links have metadata published, most of the articles have the metadata done, but, sh404SEF doesnt pull that metadata and when I go to the Title and Metadata Manager tab every url have the metadata fields empty.

Shouldnt sh404 pull the metadata I inserted in the article? /article/publishing tab.

Hi

If we are talking about Joomla content (ie articles and categories), the meta data is rewritten using a plugin built into sh404SEF. Then when you want to overwrite the default values, you use the sh404SEF Title and meta manager, which is just for that.

We have a development version (release schedule for about sept 15) which can also read the meta data stored within the Joomla interface and use that, but that's more a backup, as basically you're supposed to use, well, sh404SEF to handle title and meta data.

That said, if you have a lot of meta data created with Joomla, you might want to have a look at the dev version and check if it works good for your?
