Hi,
we are trying to use sh404sef in the way like joomla is: menu driven so that we have same breadcrumb as the url.

Example: I have an article in whatever category but linked to a menu path: Company->Stuff->Mike
Mike is a menu item pointing to the article ABC.

I'd like the sef url to be: /company/stuff/mike

Is it possible?

Hi

That's not the way sh404SEF, so as to prevent duplicate content issues, which are so common with regular Joomla SEF.

There are 2 ways to handle this:

1 - if your site structure is simple, we have a development version with an option to create URLs as you desire. URLs will still be stored in the database, and available for other sh404SEF features, but sh404SEF cannot handle duplicate content in this operating mode.

2 - You can fix the breadcrumb issue by managing the duplicate URLs Joomla created on your site (this is why the breadcrumb doesn't work as expected, because there are mulitple URLs on your site for the same content).
