#801 – White page/optimization url

 Hi
When I go to my website all I see is a blank white screen, this happens when say "yes" on the "Enable URL optimization".

If I say "no" no the "enable url optimization" it works! How can I solve this problem? I need to put yes on the url optimization!

Blank page means that there is a fatal PHP error on that page. Most probably some other component, plugin is causing that.
Could you please provide us with superadmin credentials to your website. You can create a temporary account, and delete it afterwards, but it must have superuser level.

The conflict was coming from language filter plugin and specifically from the option "Automatic Language Change". Disabling this restored the functionality.

Hi, if I put yes on "enable optimization url" it doesn't work, I have always the blank page!

In this moment, the "enable optimization url" is setted on YES and, as you can see, the page of my website ( www.xxxx.it) is blank!

I can see your site correctly displaying now.

There was an error with the Cache management of sh404SEF, thus the other blank screen.

So to recap:
There was a blank screen due to too many redirections caused by language filter (even without sh404SEF enabled)
And there was another blank screen due to permissions error for the file access of the cache management of sh404SEF

I would ask you one last thing, I put "writing_mode" "with .htaccess" instead of "without .haccess" because I don't like the "index.php" on my articles. Is that a problem?

No, as long as you have a valid .htaccess file in your site’s root.
