 Hi,

I have a problem with breadcrumb when SH404SEF is enabled.
The breadcrumb title is different than the article title.
See Screenshots attached for more informations.

When i disable SH404 , titles are displayed correctly.

My site: https://www.xxxx.com

Hi

The breadcrumb is built by Joomla and is entirely dependant on the Joomla menu item in the URL (the Itemid). There is probably multiple duplicates generated for that URL, and you need to select the one with the correct one, the one with the correct Itemid. See this page of the documentation for a full description on how to do that.

Hi,
I have not found duplicate URLs (see screenshot)
which is strange what the titles are displayed correctly when I disable sh404sef.

Thanks

Hi

I played around, disabled sh404SEF and enabled it back. Then just disabled the page cache plugin and all seems well. You probably had that stuck in your full page cache content.

Hi,
Thanks for your help, but the problem is always here.
NB: The original template (Gantry /Inspiretheme) does not have this problem

Hi,

Yes because in between (entre temps) I made the following changes

+ I disabled the System Cache (in global configuration - System Settings)
+ And I disabled the System - Page Cache (plugin)

the problem reappears when I activate the System Cache + the plugin - Page Cache

Hi

Sure. And it's not related to sh404SEF. Just to the fact that caching the breadcrumb module is not a good idea I think.

I have no choice, I will leave the site like this (Cache disabled).
I do not know if it will influence the speed of the site + his SEO or not.
In any case thank you very much for your help

King regards

Hi

Why don't you just disable caching for the breadcrumbs modules?
