 Hello,

All seems ok when I install sh404SEF latest version but it does not appear in the COMPONENT menu. All plugins seems installed OK.

I had this message after installation at bottom of screen :
Warning: Zend OPcache API is restricted by "restrict_api" configuration directive in /home/esswaqie/www/e/tmp/install_582f24041f41c/installation.script.php on line 100

Thank you very much for your response,

Christian.

Hi

1 - What's your full and exact Joomla version?

2 - Did you have sh404SEF before (ie you are upgrading) or is it a first install?

(I really a first install, like you never had it before, even if 3 years ago)

3 - Can you access the component by typing the address directly?

www.yoursite.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_sh404sef

4 - I would suggest you uninstall it first, and try again installing. The fact the component does not appear in the component list is a recurring issue with Joomla. I had it a couple of times with other components, and as I understand is linked to ACL and permissions, but was always solved by installing again

5 - The message you get is caused by your server configuration. I don't think it can cause the issue you are having, but it's not impossible if that broke our installation process.
I would suggest you talk to your hosting company about lifting this restriction. Many extensions and Joomla itself use the instruction we use (opcache_reset), so you will have this warning more and more in the future.

Hi

Glad to hear that! Closing this ticket now, feel free to open a new one as needed. If you do so, please mention this ticket number in the new one.

If you created any superadmin account for us, be sure to delete or block it now to avoid unnecessary risk in the future.

Be sure to also check out wbAMP, our new Accelerated Mobiles pages plugin for Joomla - the next big thing is SEO, direct from Google themselves!
