Hi Team, there is an apparent conflict with sh404sef and Dropfiles

When attempting to download a file via Dropfiles, links are redirected to Home page.

However if we switch off sh404sef AND joomla's global config sef url settings, then Dropfiles will work again.

We have tried a number of Configurations - see attached example - with both sh404sef and Joomla Global Config and nothing resolves the problem.

Do you have any suggestions?

Well, what happens when you disable sh404SEF but leave Joomla SEF on?

1. disable sh404SEF but leave Joomla SEF on = still doesn't work

2. switch off all joomla sef settings and reenable sh404sef = still doesn't work

Only works when both are disabled

3. .htaccess issue? I have reinstated standard joomla .htaccess file, tried all various configurations including points 1 and 2 above = still doesn't work

What else can I try?

Hi

If this happens when sh404SEF is disabled, what you have to do is go and talk to the DropFiles folks! this issue is not related to sh404SEF and I am afraid I have little information on how that extension work, so I don't see how we can be of help.

Thank you, yes I have opened a support ticket with Dropfiles also.
