Everything on my site seems to be working after setting up sh404SEF, except for my 2 breezingforms

I have a quote request form and an upload form that both worked fine before the sh404SEF install and now both are broke...

Hi

I looked at the "Request a quote" page on the site from the other ticket, and I can see some javascript errors. I can also see that the captcha is not requesting the correct URL:

[xxxx]

It's calling site.com/en/index.php?option=..... It gets a 404, as is normal because this URL is wrong (it should not have /en/ at the beginning). I suspect there might be some Joomla language configuration issue on your site.

Could you please provide us with superadmin credentials to your website. You can create a temporary account, and delete it afterwards, but it must have superuser level.

Thanks and regards

Hi

Breezing Forms seems to throw this error " cannot read property substr of undefined" whenever we try to submit. I have googled for this error and found a couple of their support forum where this was mentioned (this one for instance).
The resolution was to update to a more recent version of BF and redo the forms. As you're using what seems to be the latest, that's not an option for the moment.
As I found that using Joomla router make BF work, I set it to "Use Joomla router" under "By components" tab of sh404SEF configuration, and that seems to make it happy.
The error seems one classical "using a relative URL" but I can't pinpoint it in BF, so this is a fair solution for now.

Hi

Glad to hear that. Closing this ticket now, feel free to open a new one as needed. If you do so, please mention this ticket number in the new one.

If you created any superadmin account for us, be sure to delete or block it now to avoid unnecessary risk in the future.

Be sure to also check out wbAMP, our new Accelerated Mobiles pages plugin for Joomla - the next big thing is SEO, direct from Google themselves!
