 Hi,

We have a menu link type single article which contains a page class "_paint" added. The menu id is 473 and the article id is 105.

Based on that page class we have CSS in place to style the page as required. Without sh404sef activated the class outputs correctly and the page is styled as it should be. See screenshot A. Test site URL http://xxxx.ie/TestNov2015/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=105&Itemid=473 (htaccess: xxxx / xxxx)

What we've noticed is that when sh404sef is activated this page class does not output. See Screenshot B. (Live site link: http://xxxx.ie/Little-Green-Paint/breathe-new-life-into-your-home-with-a-splash-of-colour.html)

What's more is that this non sef url index.php?option=com_content&Itemid=473&id=105&lang=en&view=article
does not appear anywhere in the URL Manager.

I don't understand why this URL is not in the URL manager? Not even as a duplicate.

There are however other URLs which contain the same article (those menu links are not published). See Screenshot C.

Can you please advise how we resolve this?

Many thanks

Hi

I don't understand why this URL is not in the URL manager? Not even as a duplicate.
URLs are stored in the URL manager if and when they are displayed on a page. So if the only way to access this URL is by typing it in the browser, then Joomla never tries to Route it and never passes it to sh404SEF.

If you really have a published menu item with that link, then things that most likely explain this is caching, either full page caching (system plugin) or module caching (ie in global configuration)

Hi,

Thanks for your prompt response. It is in fact a main menu link (go to xxxx.ie to the main menu and go to Paint > Add a splash of colour)....so I believe it should be in the URL manager.

You mention caching: In global config we have caching set to disabled. In plugins I see the System -Cache plugin also set to disabled.

Please advise.

Thanks

I found your IP address in a previous ticket. I hope it's the same. I added xxxx to the firewall rules. Do let me know if this needs to be amended.

To access Joomla admin you'll need these htaccess credentials:
xxxx
xxxx

Joomla super admin user:
xxxx
xxxx

I await your reply.

Thanks

Hi

Yes, the IP is good, but the htaccess credentials are not!

Hi,

I promise you those htaccess credentials are correct. And I just tested them again to be sure.

When you go to http://xxxx.ie/administrator you are prompted with a message saying restricted area so you enter:

name: xxxx
password: xxxx

Once pass this step you'll then see the Joomla admin screen where you can log in.

To confirm this is the IP which has access rights:
xxxx

Please try and again and advise.

Thanks

Hi

It's in the URL , manager, that's the second duplicate of the SEF URL

I switched it to "main" URL and the page class is added.

Hi

Duplicates are listed in the URL manager, next to the URL itself, under the column "Duplicates". You should read this page of documentation to understand the context.
