Dear Support,

I have installed and configured your plugin in regards to SocialSEO as per the instructions here:

However, it doesn't appear to be propagating to Facebook or Twitter when I test the validators. It states the OG tags are missing.
I also checked in this tool and it states the same.

In particular I am trying to set the default image for when sharing a link to the site on Facebook.

Using Joomla 3.4.3 hosted on SiteGround. I do have a SuperCacher running on SiteGround but believe that all caching in Joomla is disabled. Website is www.xxxx.com.

Any tips would be appreciated, if simpler I can provide a temp account to the Joomla backend.

Hi

You don't have to look at validators, you should simply first look at your page source code. Indeed, no OGP tags are present.

Could you please provide us with superadmin credentials to your website. You can create a temporary account, and delete it afterwards, but it must have superuser level.

I had not turned on "Enable URL optimization" as I wasn't ready - but other parts of the plugin appeared to be working.
To be clear, this needs to be on for all functions of the plugin to work?

Yes, that's the general on/off switch, as mentioned on the getting started guide, except for security features, which are live even if URL optimization is off (they have a separate on/off switch).
