Hi, my site  has been upgraded from Joomla3 to Joomla4. In the site with Joomla3 there was SH404SEF component installed. While it no longer works with Joomla4 I still see it among the components and I have kept the database tables, I would like to know if the 4sef component can retrieve the sef urls created by sh404sef even though by now the site is already upgraded to Joomla4. Thanks dor your time

Hi

I would like to know if the 4sef component can retrieve the sef urls created by sh404sef even though by now the site is already upgraded to Joomla4.

Importing the SEF URLs is possible but as sh404SEF is not installed anymore, importing the configuration is not possible (Joomla removed the configuration when you uninstalled sh404SEF).

So you will have to configure 4SEF in the exact same way as sh404SEF was by hand.

Best regards

Hi, we still have sg404sef database tables, we didn't unistall the component, but it doesn' work anymore. What do you think about? This could be enough to restore the old sef urls using 4sef?

Hi

we didn't unistall the component, but it doesn' work anymore.

You should have uninstalled it before moving to Joomla 4, as sh404SEF is only for Joomla 3.

However, if you upgraded the Joomla 3 site to Joomla 4 and still have the database tables, you'll be able to import the SEF URLs.

You'll have to manually configure 4SEF in the exact same way you had sh404SEF URLs configured.

Hi, I am interested in purchasing the 4sef component, but I would need support in installing and retrieving urls from the old SH404SEF component. We never uninstalled sh404SEF so even though it doesn't work on Joomla 4, there are still all the related tables on the database. Can you please let me know if you can help me with this work and what is the cost of your assistance?

Hi

Can you please let me know if you can help me with this work and what is the cost of your assistance?

Unfortunately we do not provide any installation or dedicated support service, we just do not have the resources for that.

I'd suggest looking for a Joomla developer or integrator, there's nothing special about that process really.

Best regards
