Hello, I have been using SH404SEF 4.7.1.3144 on my site. I woud like to upgrade to 4SEO without loosing my data and upgrade to Joomla 4X afterwards. Is this possible? Thix

Not exactly like that. 4SEO is NOT a replacement for sh404SEF, it's not an "upgrade" from sh404SEF.
- 4SEO has all modern SEO features, much more than sh404SEF (it generates sitemap, creates structured data, has a content replacer, manages redirects, generates OpenGraph data and much more).
It's designed to work regardless of the SEF URL solution used. It can work with just Joomla SEF URLs, sh404SEF (on Joomla 3), 4SEF (on Joomla 3 & 4), or any other SEF URLs extension.
- 4SEF is our latest extension (released as beta a couple of months ago). It does only one thing: creates and manage SEF URLs. Nothing else. No redirects management, no SEO features, nothing else but SEF URLs. It's however backward compatible with sh404SEF, meaning it can import SEF URLs created by sh404SEF and will create the same URLs as sh404SEF would, at least for Joomla content.
So upgrading to Joomla 4 depends on what you actually use in sh404SEF.
- what you must have is 4SEF, as it's how your URLs are created, and you must preserve all your URLs
- 4SEO is needed if you use any SEO feature in sh404SEF: meta data management, redirects, canonicals, OpenGraph. 4SEO can import meta data and redirects from sh404SEF.
As 4SEO and 4SEF works the same on Joomla 3 and Joomla 4, the upgrade path is to switch to 4SEF and/or 4SEO while Joomla 3, then upgrade the site to Joomla 4.
4SEF is available as part of your existing sh404SEF subscription. 4SEO is a separate subscription.

Thank you Yannick, if I understand correctly, I’ll need to purchase, download and install the latest sh404SEF and install over my older version 4.7.1.3144. I don’t use the SEO features, I just want to preserve mu URL’s and alias’s, and once I install the latest version, I can upgrade to Joomla 4X. My question is when I go to purchase the latest download version it says sh404SEF / 4SEF – ‘Joomla 3 only.’ Am I missing something? Well, like I said, 4SEF is in beta testing right now, so it does not have a product page on the site, and the subscription name has not changed. I just added " / 4SEF" at the end of the name to show that with an sh404SEF sub, you'll also get 4SEF. But sh404SEF is indeed only Joomla 3.
In a few weeks time, it'll be the opposite: 4SEF will have its own full product page, and sh404SEF will only be mentioned as a "Legacy" product.
To be clear: 4SEF, just like 4SEO, works the same on Joomla 3 and Joomla 4. sh404SEF definitely only works on Joomla 3.
