#8683 – WbAMP Joomla 4 compatible
Hi
Our development efforts are all geared towards 4SEF, the successor to sh404SEF, which entered beta testing a couple of weeks ago.
Considering that AMP is no longer a requirement by Google to appear in Top Stories and other search results feature they have, and it appears they are not promoting it anymore, I'm afraid they might just drop it in the future month (it was always going to be a time-limited technology, we may be closer to that now).
We already done some of the work actually, and if you are a subscriber, you can download and test (on a copy of your site, not the real site, things can break) a preliminary version from the development versions download area . But we won't resume work on wbAMP until after 4SEF has been released as stable and I have gathered enough information and assurance that AMP will be available for quite some more time.
Best regards

Hi
only because my site perform better on Mobile devices.
When you move to Joomla 4, you have a chance to redo your template for an efficient one. Maybe that's a better option.
Also remember your site does not work faster on AMP. AMP is only used by Google/Twitter/Linkedin/etc on their own page, but when the user goes directly to your site, they experience your mobile site, not the AMP version - unless your site is entirely AMP and does not have a regular version?
