Hi,

I'm yusing SH404SEF on several installations and am a friend of this extension. Due to the structure of SH404 I was able to even override the title and description by URL for joomla tags. Is this still possible with 4SEO or does 4SEO only cover joomla items?

4SEO covers any page that's found on your site. It's based on a crawler, so if you have a link to a page anywhere on your site, it will find it and let you adjust meta data such as title and description - and many other things of course.

Note that 4SEO does not handle SEF URLs in any way, as sh404SEF does. It does not require sh404SEF or 4SEF, or any SEF extension - but will of course work with any of them, or just Joomla SEF.
