I'm wondering when we may be expecting 4SEF to come out for Joomla 4? Please can you let me know? I'm using J4 on new sites and am missing my sh404SEF and so.... pretty much need 4SEF. Thank you!

We'll be having a first testing release this week. This will be for a smaller group of testers. If you want to be part of it, be sure to read our upcoming newsletter and blog post where I'll post the details of requesting early access.
Also, as mentioned in all previous communication, be aware that 4SEF is not a match for sh404SEF. It does SEF URLs and only SEF URLs. All SEO features - and many more that I never was able to add to sh404SEF have already been available in 4SEO for nearly a year now. I hope you've already given it a run, it's quite nicer and much more powerful and complete than sh404SEF ever was.

Thank you Yannick for all you’re doing! I am using 4SEO, but miss the ability to manage my URLs. I’ve become so accustomed to sh404sef.
I would do the testing but I’m not a huge power user and there are people better equipped to help with that. I’m watching and waiting patiently:)

Thanks for your comment, it should not be too long. Do you use mlostly Joomla native content, articles, categories, tags, or do you use often 3rd-party extensions (K2, Zoo, FlexiContent, or Ecommerce, etc?)

K2 might be more of an issue at this point because K2 is producing their own plugin for sh404SEF and so they will have to rewrite it as a 4SEF plugin.
Now of course that will only be required whenever K2 for Joomla 4 becomes available, but that I have no information about.

Yes, K2 is taking some time to come about. I’m thankful for all the work that goes into all these components and happily pay for the good ones.
