Hi,

It's about time to renew my subscription to sh404sef. But the future looks uncertain. There will be no more updates for sh404sef, I understand.

What will happen when 4SEF is published? Will the subscription to sh404sef automatically become a subscription to 4SEF? Will the prices of sh404sef en 4SEF be the same?

Yes.

Technically speaking, I'm not sure yet what will happen, still need to figure the best way to achieve this with our subscription management system.

Unless we hit an issue with the subsription system, most likely the sh404SEF plan will just be renamed as "4SEF + sh404SEF". This will allow existing subscription to be renewed with the usual renewal discount and everything will just keep working.

In any case, switching to 4SEF will be the same as continuing to use sh404SEF, from a subscription standpoint. You'll be able to use both actually (well, not on the same site of course).
